The Main reason why Comelec Chairman Bautista suddenly set a motion for his immediate resignation was shaken by Rep. HARRY ROQUE.
Malacañang prefers to keep hands off for the impeachment going on of the Commission on Election Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista.He said " It is, unfortunately, the decision of the House Committee on Justice was to dismiss the impeachment complaint but it was turned over this afternoon by the house of representatives.
The House Committee on Justice Chairman, House Votes Rep. Rey Umali, watching during the voting on the impeachment complaint against Commission on Election Chairman Andres Bautista.

Bautista resignation is effective by the end of the year."If he is no longer in the position there's no reason to continue [the trial] ", Umali said.
The Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel said that a certified true copy of Bautista the resignation will be a basis for the Senate to stop congregating to the committee to his final the session, to the impeachment court.
However Senate President "Koko" Pimentel with his opposition Senator Francis Pangilinan they said there's no need for a trial against Bautista if he will step down and willingly from his jobs.
The resolution was overriding pursuant to Section 11, Article 3 of the Rules of Procedure on the impeachment proceedings, which states that a vote of at least one-third of all the members of the House "shall be necessary to override the panel's resolution".
Senator Panfilo Lacson said that Bautista resignation is prospective and not yet affected.Once the impeachment complains is forwarded to the Senate court, with his resignation is not been yet affected, the Senate has no options need to proceed a Trial impeachment of Comelec Chairman.
Rep. Robert Ace Barbers( NP, Surigao Del Norte)impeachment trial in the Senate would give Bautista opportunity to explain the perceived of infractions he committed!he added.
The Chief of Comelec said have to accept illegal commission from the law firm of UST LAW Dean Nilo Divina, who had served as a council for election machine provider by Smartmatic.As to the allegation that, his sudden resignation is a part of "DEAL STRUCK" when his impeachment case was junked.And there is no such arrangement " For all intents and purposes the matter is "MOOT".he said!.
"On the Dec.31st the dates is not cast in stone yet!the aim with this it gives more enough time to the President to make a transition for my resignation smooth and orderly". Bautista said during his interview.Aside from his Family Reason, Bautista said there is no too much work to do in Comelec, until early 2018 following the postponement of the barangays area and youth polls.at this point, I should give more time and importance to my family.
Election Chairman Andres Bautista announced on Wednesday that he will be resigned by the end of 2017 amid allegations, he amassed around 1 billion PHP (Us$19Million)unexplained wealth made by his estranged wife.
